Wolfgang Schusser, President

Wolfgang SchusserWolf trained as an engineer and tool and die maker in Germany as a young man. He's worked as a machinist and manager in oil refineries, resident engineer in a saw mill plant, and as a commissioning engineer and manager in the copper and cobalt mines of South Africa. He entered the door and sash industry in the U.S., working initially for RUVO as a service engineer and technical advisor.

In 1991 Wolf began his own company, Reconditioning Unlimited by Wolf (RUWO). He's widely respected in the industry in which he's worked for more than 19 years by his customers and competitors - well-known as a hardworking, honest man. His skills and experience mean that there's not likely a piece of equipment needed by our customers, today, that he can't engineer and build.

Wolf speaks fluent English, German and Afrikaans.

Thomas Schusser, Director of Manufacturing

Wolf’s son, Thomas, joined RUWO in 1992 when the company was founded. While still attending school, he worked with his father on the development and improvement of the machines. Thomas has been an integral part of the engineering and development ever since.

Over the years, he's learned to recognize our customers’ needs and has turned them into expansion of our product line. Thomas also makes strong contributions in drafting, machining, welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, custom fabrication, and mechanics.

All Builders Automation shop activities come under his direction, and he ensures that the highest standards are always upheld. Thomas is also responsible for overseeing all equipment testing in our plant and is closely involved in new equipment start-ups and training.
